High-Tech Bridge invests half-a-million more into Security Research Lab

One month since the inauguration of High-Tech Bridge’s Security Research Lab more than 30 vulnerabilities in different software products were discovered. This number shows that every day a new vulnerability is being discovered and reported to vendor.

Recent vulnerability in Microsoft SharePoint, discovered by High-Tech Bridge's security experts, was mentioned in thousands websites and magazines, bringing attention to Switzerland and High-Tech Bridge from all over the world.

“Today we are collaborating with many software vendors to improve security of their products” - says High-Tech Bridge’s CEO Mr. Ilia Kolochenko, - “The results of the first month of work are impressive, so we have decided to invest half-a-million Swiss Francs more into further expansion of our lab. This expansion will permit to discover new vulnerabilities and security weaknesses in more products. The money is coming from Swiss private investors in order to keep the absolute neutrality and objectivity in our security research.“

High-Tech Bridge follows the strategic goal, announced few months before - to make Switzerland world-leading country in cyber security and safety. “This is only beginning” – adds CEO of High-Tech Bridge –“it is quite possible that we will invest more before the end of the year.”
